- This is an individual event. One submission per writer.
- Word limit: 2000-2500 words
- Please note that Endnotes/footnotes in entries will be excluded from Word count only when they stand independent of the story and act as a reference.

- No previously published writings.
- Writers are expected to post your entries on the ArtoonsInn Writers Room website | writers.artoonsinn.com. Sign up on the website in case you haven’t already, to submit your writing. Ensure you check relevant categories (Genre/Theme) that your story is most relevant to while submitting.
- Additionally, if the writers have their own website which is hosted by Geeks Room, they can upload the story on their own website. (Please make sure the story has proper labels and tags on your website for easy search and reference)
- Upload a non-copyrighted cover picture along with your writing (Refer www.unsplash.com). Make sure to add photographer credits at the bottom of your writing.
- Share the link to your story, once it is approved, in the ArtoonsInn Writers Room Facebook group with your post description and hashtags #ArtoonsInnWritersRoom #Elysium #ArTales #Artales24
- Submission deadline: 21st April 2022 at midnight IST. Entries submitted after the deadline will be considered as Guest entries. Winner/s will be announced on Recognition Day, 30th April 2022 on www.facebook.com/ArtoonsInn.

- How will the government/empire/those in charge detect or measure the emotions? – It’s up to writer’s interpretation. Example: In a Sci-Fi tale, the government can have some sort of scanner attached on citizens. Example 2: In a Fantasy, the citizens are bound by a magic spell
- The prompt mentions MC – does it mean protagonist? – Not necessarily
