(a tribute to Capt.Jack Sparrow alias Johnny Depp)

There’s many a day in this life of mine
But none I hold so dear
As the happy day I first became
A scurvy buccaneer
Come aboard, me lads o’ the Black Pearl
Let’s hoist the Jolly Roger!

You know, lads, what they call me
I’m Captain Jack Sparrow
Pirate Lord of the Seven Seas
And a rather nice fellow
Look sharp! Me lads o’ the Black Pearl
And fly the Jolly Roger!

Sun’s come up on the Sargasso Sea
Our homeland’s far behind us
Being hunted by the Queen’s Navy
But no, they’ll never find us
A toast! Me lads o’ the Black Pearl
To that Jolly Roger!

We’ll go sailing to the World’s End
Chasin’ Hector Barbossa
Search all over for the Dead Man’s Chest
And Davy Jones’ locker
Look sharp! Me lads o’ the Black Pearl
Just hoist the Jolly Roger!

Now a gleam comes into me eye
As I spy an English clipper
She looks the perfect shape and size
Let’s ram her bow ‘n’ take her!
Attack! Me lads o’ the Black Pearl
Fly the Jolly Roger!

Her hold is hot like liquid fire
Her chests are filled with treasure
Take as much as you require
Then some more for your pleasure
Plunder! Me lads of the Black Pearl
Keep flyin’ the Jolly Roger!

The Flying Dutchman’s upon us, lads
Stranger Tides beckon
Dead men tell no tales, lads
Now, bring me that horizon
Pass the rum, me lads of the Black Pearl
Salute the Jolly Roger!
