Setting:
Due to unforeseen circumstances, you are forced to spend 48 hours in a stranger’s house because all residents of the town are ordered to move indoors immediately.
Event Rules:
- The given setting ought to be followed in your story.
- The story must be written in 1st Person POV.
- Your story must have a minimum of 900 and a maximum of 1000 words. Entries lower than or exceeding the word limit will be disqualified.
- Do not send previously published works. Strictly fresh stories only. We don’t encourage plagiarism, kindly refrain!
- Send only one entry per individual. Give us your best work.
- The last date for submissions is the 20th of October 2018, at 23:59 and the results will be revealed on the 31st of October 2018, at 18:00 IST.
- Entries submitted after the deadline will also be shared on the website (and our associated social media) but would not be included in the event.
- Submit your stories through a Word document (ONLY) to [email protected]. The subject of your mail MUST be “Entry for #UniK -1”. Alternatively, you can also send us your story through the “Submissions” tab on our website (https://writers.artoonsinn.com/contact-us/)
- Send us a 2-3 line introduction about yourself in the body of your email (in 3rd person narrative) only if it is your first time at ArtoonsInn.
- Your story MUST be accompanied by a high-quality picture relating to the story to feature as the cover. The pictures must be non-copyrighted (Refer Pixabay.com for high-quality and free pictures.) The stories submitted without a picture will be delayed.
- Make sure you follow the above-mentioned rules to avoid delay in publishing your work on our website. Entries are posted in the first in first out (FIFO) order.
- Members participating in ArttrA-1 cannot participate in this event.
