The Chase | UniK-15

You’re running as fast as you can, but you can’t get away — because what you’re running from doesn’t have legs.

This is an open event for everyone to participate in.
However, submissions from Mars and Pluto are not acceptable.

We, with our writing events, aim to give writers a chance to explore their creative potential. We encourage you to be experimental and original.

UniK-15 | Event Rules and Guidelines. 

1. Word limit: Minimum 1000 and maximum 1500 words.
   –>Please note that Endnotes/footnotes in entries will be excluded from Word count only when they stand independent of the story and act as a reference.
   Examples of Endnotes that will NOT be included in word count:
   Glossary, Credits, Reference links.
   Examples of Endnotes that WILL be included in word count:
   Epilogue, Author Notes (If the story depends on it for clarification), PostScript
2. 1 entry per Writer. No previously published writings. 
3. You are expected to post your entries on the ArtoonsInn Writers Room website | writers.artoonsinn.com. Sign up on the website to submit your writing if you haven’t already. Ensure you check the relevant categories (Genre/Theme) that your story is most relevant to while submitting.
4. If you have a website hosted at ArtoonsInn, you can share your story on your site and post the link directly on the Writers Room Facebook group timeline.
5. Rulfy is mandatory. In-depth reviews are encouraged and rewarded. Understand what Rulfy is here: https://writers.artoonsinn.com/rulfy/
6. Upload a non-copyrighted cover picture along with your writing (Refer www.unsplash.com). Make sure to add photographer credits at the bottom of your writing. 
7. Once you have submitted your writing on the website, one of the admins(watchers of ArtoonsInn) will approve it. Once it is approved, you would be notified by email. You may then share the link to your writing in the ArtoonsInn Writers Room Facebook group with your post description and hashtags #UinK-15 #TheChase If you are sharing the link on your timeline, Instagram or Twitter, we request you to use the hashtag #ArtoonsInnWritersRoom as well. 
8. The last date to post your writing in the ArtoonsInn Writers Room Facebook group is 24th April 2023 23:59 IST. Entries submitted after the deadline will be considered Guest entries. The winner(s) will be announced on Recognition Day i.e. 30th April 2023.
9. Take care of your Mental Health as much as you do of your Physical Health.

Disclaimer: Your stories may be subjected to receive serious criticism. 

• It is suggested that if you wish to see honest reviews on your story for learning, you write honest reviews for other participants as well. ArtoonsInn encourages participants who support, encourage, and communicate with others in a friendly manner.
• Stories written before the event or works previously published on any online or offline platforms are neither considered competing nor encouraged.
• Participants found guilty of plagiarism will be removed from ArtoonsInn.
