The Pandals were reverberating with loud vedic chants emanating from the loudspeakers installed on the temple premises. The inner sanctorum, as well as the vast temple courtyard were overflowing with people who came for the darshan of the God and Goddess Lord Mallikarjuna and Devi Bramarambha at the famed Srisailam temple. It is also whispered among the power corridors that the chief minister is involved in some dark rituals conducted by the Swamiji from 12 am to 3 am at some remote place which is frequented by the chief minister for some unknown purpose. The chief minister whose popularity among the masses is at an all time low is hopeful of winning a hat trick to form a government the third time and has pegged his hopes on the swamy and some random astrologers to turn his fortunes around.
